IOS – iPhone / iPad
Open the IOS Podcast app. Go to Library, and tap “Add Podcast by URL”, then paste in the RSS LINK:
http://rss.darkmatterdigitalnetwork.com/mitd/
Be sure to also include the http:// … Click OK.
You’ll be promoted to enter your subscription email address and password.
Once subscribed, sometimes you will need to SLIDE DOWN the list of episodes on the Podcasts App, to force an refresh/update if it doesn’t already do this on its own. The links will expire after a few hours and so the App needs to get fresh links.

ALTERNATIVE IOS APP Instructions:
If you are using an alternative app, you can try this method for getting the authenticated credentials into the app.
You can alter the normal URL of the feed as follows:
http://emailaddress__emailhost.com:yourDMDNpassword@rss.darkmatterdigitalnetwork.com/mitd/
The “@“ symbol in your email address should be replaced with two underscores “__”
For example if your email address is joecool@gmail.com wth a password of ABCDE, the URL to enter would be:
http://joecool__gmail.com:ABCDE@rss.darkmatterdigitalnetwork.com/mitd/
You might want to copy and paste this example and then substitute your email/password combo. Don’t forget the double underscores.

Android Devices
The RSS feed for our Dark Matter Digital Network archives will work on Android using the “Beyond Pod” app. Some have tried “Podcast Republic” also.
These apps are the only ones that correctly authenticate by asking for your membership email address and password, and will properly update the daily feed with the current episodes.
Download these apps to your Android device and use the RSS address:

If the app is not asking for your username and password you may need to modify the URL to include your login details as shown here:
http://name__yourmailhost.com:yourpass@rss.darkmatterdigitalnetwork.com/mitd/
The @ in your email address should be swapped out as “__” 2 underscores.
iTunes
To add our podcast feed to iTunes, from the iTunes File menu, select:
“Subscribe to Podcast”
then copy and paste this address:
http://rss.darkmatterdigitalnetwork.com/mitd/
into the dialog box. Then click OK. iTunes will ask for your Time Traveler login email address and password.
Then after a few seconds, iTunes should show you the latest list of episodes.
